The Gamma Ray telescope, pointed north so that it doesn't set fire to anything as it would if it were capturing any of the sun's rays. Gamma rays are very powerful bursts of electro-magnetic radiation. In order for them to be created, something BIG has to happen. These telescopes measure specifically gamma ray bursts. This is known in the industry as a VERITAS telescope: very energetic radiation imaging telescope array system.
